Jeremy A. Richler is a highly respected Toronto employment and labour lawyer working in association with Randy Ai Law Office. He completed his law degree from University of Windsor, after completing an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at McGill University, and a Masters in Political Science from Carleton University. Jeremy completed his articles at a small litigation and personal injury law firm in Hamilton, Ontario.

 

Jeremy offers invaluable experience in corporate and employment law. He is skilled at reviewing and drafting employment contracts, and advising on the legality of severance packages. Jeremy regularly acts on behalf of employees terminated by employers of all sizes, including Fortune 500 companies, to fight for favourable final settlements that greatly exceed the minimums prescribed by the Employment Standards Act. Jeremy has also appeared before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario to advocate for those that have been victims of adverse and differential treatment.

 

During law school, Jeremy was active on the Students’ Law Society, and served as the Vice-President of Academic affairs. He was also a teaching assistant for first year law students in contracts law, and legal writing & research.

 

Outside of work, Jeremy is a news and political junkie, blogger, and avid Blue Jays and Raptors fan. Jeremy enjoys reading fiction and non-ficion alike, as well as music of all genres, from classic rock to contemporary top 40. Jeremy can hold his own doing karaoke, but is not about to make it his day job!
